We have a cat with Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), was wondering if you could share any advice/suggestions with regards to what to supplement the kittens with, as well as the kitten's care and the other cats in the household that came in contact.

Our FIP Kit includes Felimm, which helps to fight infection and viruses, and BK Detox to help detoxify the system. With FIP, it is very important that you keep any healthy cats separated from cats who have this virus. If there was contact before you knew about the FIP, we would recommend to also give the supplement in the FIP kit to the healthy kitties for 3 months. The exact incubation period of FIP is not known (the time it takes for a cat to show clinical signs). Healthy, mature cats are often able to fight the virus and not show clinical signs, but the herbs will help with this. As for cleaning the environment, FIP is not a very stable virus, cleaning with bleach will help to kill the virus in the environment. You can wash bedding/toys with hot water and a small amount of bleach. The biggest concern with this virus is litter. Make sure you thoroughly vacuum and remove any traces of litter which may be contaminated with the virus.
