My cat was diagnosed with chin acne. Which supplements do you recommend?

Chin acne in cats is a poorly understood skin condition with an unknown underlying cause. It may be associated with factors such as stress, viral infections, immunosuppression, allergies, or poor grooming habits; however, none of these have been definitively proven to be the underlying cause of the condition.

For chin acne, we recommend:

NHV Stimmune: It works to support a balanced immune response to allergens and helps combat infections. Since chin acne might be linked to the immune system, this supplement can offer support for the condition.

NHV Petomega-3: Provides omega-3 oils, which can promote overall health and comfort and support many organs and functions, like the immune system. They also support healthy cell growth and skin and help reduce inflammation, which is why omega-3 oils are often recommended for skin issues. Please note that this formula has a different dosage recommendation than the herbal supplements.

Additionally, it's pressumed that there may be an association with plastic dishes, as the irregular surface or scratches in the plastic may contribute to bacterial contamination. Therefore, replacing your kitty's dishes with nonporous, smooth-surfaced dishes like glass or stainless steel (and washing them daily) may help.
